  • For Enquiries for Admissions, please look up the school website or contact the School Office in the month of October.
  • Registration of students seeking admission into Classes Lower Nursery and above begins in November every year.
  • Registration Forms can be obtained from the School Office .
  • Filled in Registration Form must be submitted at the School Office personally.
  • Admission to all classes is subject to availability of seats.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BE FOLLOWED BY THE PARENTS OF THE STUDENTS OF PRE-PRIMARY SECTION FOR THE SESSION 2018-19

General instructions :

The School gate will open for the students of LN – Class 2 at 9:30 a.m every morning.

All children should be carrying an extra set of coloured clothes everyday in case their uniform gets soiled during school hours.

Preparations for the first day :

Parents are requested to write the name, class and section of their wards on their school bags, water-bottles, tiffin boxes and other belongings.

Children need not carry their text books and note books to school on the first day.

Parent are required to fill up the students particular form & medical card in the School diary and paste a photograph of their ward in school uniform on the form.

Special Instruction for Lower Nursery :

Parents of children admitted to LN will be required to submit all books & note books to the class teacher on the Parents Orientation Day (04/04/18) or on 05/04/18.

Books and other stationery items may be purchased from “Kapil Enterprises” on Vidyasagar Lane, Makhla. For the sake of convenience, parents are requested to purchase the books, school bag, School Almanac etc. as per the schedule mentioned below :

Please present the “Fee Book” at the time of purchase.

 SCHOOL UNIFORMS:

General Uniforms for all classes & P.T Uniforms for Class 3 & above can be purchased from “Rekha Dresses” counter in the School premises (Junior School Building) on all working days from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm from 5th March onwards.

The P.T Uniform for Class 3 & above will be according to the colour of the houses assigned to the students. All new students shall get to know the House assigned after the academic session begins.

Please note that Lower Nursery to Class 2 shall not need any P.T Uniform.

Note: Parents are advised to strictly follow the student school dress code in terms of shade, print design and fabric texture.                                               PARENTS’ ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

 A Parents Orientation Program will be organized in the School Hall in the Main Building                    on 4th April’ 2018 (Wednesday).

It is compulsory for the parents of all new students to attend this programme.

The schedule for the programme will be as follows:

For Lower Nursery & Upper Nursery – 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m

For KG, Class 1 & Class 2- 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m

For Class 3 & above – 1:00 p.m to 2:00 p.m

Note: Parents are advised not to bring their children / students for the Orientation Programme.

                                         NEW ADMISSION (SESSION 2018-19)

                                           NOTICE FOR CLASSES 3 & above

Transfer Certificate from the past school needs to be submitted by the 2nd week of April at the School Office on any working day between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Students admitted into the above classes must submit a copy of the Final Term School Report Card for the Session 2017-18 on any working day between 10th March 2018 - 31st March 2018.

                      NOTICE FOR PROVISIONAL ADMISSION TO CLASS XI, SESSION 2018-19

                             (For Student desiring to join VIS Plus Two course from Other Schools)

Prospective students desiring to join the PLUS TWO course of Vision International School should follow this notice in detail.

All selected Students shall initially be granted “PROVISIONAL ADMISSION” to Class XI. Selected Prospective students shall have to complete the provisional admission formalities including the requisite fees deposit latest by 16th April, 2018. The classes shall begin on 18th April, 2018. It is obligatory for all such selected students to attend classes from this date, failing which their provisional admission will be cancelled.

The provisional admission shall be converted to Permanent Admission only when a copy of the Class X Board / ICSE Mark sheet, duly attested by the Principal of the previous school, is submitted at our School Office.

For the Plus Two course (ISC) the School offers the following subject combinations:

Students are advised to select the subject combination that he or she wishes to pursue in Class XI and XII. The risk and responsibility of subject combination rests entirely on students. All prospective students desiring provisional admission must fill up the requisite REGISTRATION FORM which can be obtained from the school front desk along with the prospectus on any working day from 5th February, 2018 onwards on payment of Rs 750/-.

Registration Form should be submitted on or before 29th March, 2018.

The provisional admission will stand null and void in case any provisionally admitted student fails in ICSE Exam of March 2018 / Class X Board Exam 2018.

Please Note:

Students opting for Science stream (Group A)

  1. The student must submit the duly filled Registration Form on or before 29th March, 2018.
  1. The student will have to appear for a written test on 7th April, 2018 (Saturday) at 9.00 am. The test will be for a total duration of 2 hrs. in Physics, Chemistry & Maths (Class X syllabus). This will be followed by an interview of the candidate with both parents.
  1. On the day of the test cum interview, the candidates must submit a copy of their Class X school final term report card and bring the original for verification.
  1. Please note that the student must have scored at least 60% (years aggregate) in each Maths, Physics & Chemistry in their School Report Card. Students also opting for Comp. Sc. must have an year aggregate score of 60 % in Comp. Sc.

Students opting for Commerce stream (Group B)

  1. The student must submit the duly filled Registration Form on or before 29th March, 2018.
  1. The student must come for a short interview along with parents on 7th April, 2018 between 9:00 am - 11:00 a.m.
  1. On the day of the interview, the candidates must submit a copy of their Class X school final term report card and bring the original for verification.
  1. Please note that the student must have scored at least 50% (years aggregate) in Maths in their School Report Card, if they wish to persue Mathematics in Class XI (Commerce).

Students opting for Humanities stream (Group C)

  1. The student must submit the duly filled Registration Form on or before 29th March, 2018.
  1. The student must come for a short interview along with parents on 7th April, 2018 between 9.00 am - 11:00 am.
  1. On the day of the interview, the candidates must submit a copy of their Class X school final term report card and bring the original for verification.
  1. Please note that the student must have scored at least 45% (years aggregate) in English in their School Report Card.

Students From Boards Other Than ICSE Or CBSE

Prospective students from boards other than ICSE or CBSE will have to appear for an Language test of 1 hour duration on the day of the interview. Students must score at least 40% in this test.

Selection of candidates for Provisional Admission into Class XI

1. The names of the candidates selected for provisional admission into Class XI and the Stream offered will be intimated to their parents through SMS from the School office on 9th April, 2018 between 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

  1. The student thus selected for provisional admission shall have to complete the process of provisional admission including depositing of the requisite fees latest by 16th April, 2018.
  2.  On the day of provisional admission, the student must be accompanied by their Father/ Mother / Legal Guardian to the school to deposit the fees and sign up an undertaking to complete of the process of provisional admission.

4. Parents of prospective student joining plus two VIS from Board other than C.I.S.C.E. shall have to give a special undertaking that the provisional admission of their ward can be cancelled if the CISCE rejects their Board Certificate and does not issue an Eligibility Certificate (a per the criteria mandated by the CISCE) . For the Eligibility Certificate from CISCE an additional fee of Rs. 1000/- shall be levied on such candidates.

  1. Application / Registration is no guarantee for provisional admission to Class XI.
  1. Confirmation of Provisional Admission as a Final Admission to Class XI is subject to the result of ICSE examination of 2018 / Class X board exam. of 2018.
  2.  For confirming the provisional admission as a final admission you shall have to submit a duly attested copy of your Class X Board result and fill up the requisite forms as directed by the school office after the summer vacation of 2018. For students from Boards other than CISCE this shall also entail the receipt of Eligibility Certificate from the CISCE, New Delhi.

                          ADMISSION NOTICE FOR THE SESSION 2018-19

 

Vision International School announces the opening of admissions for the session 2018-19 for classes Lower Nursery & above. Prospectus and Registration Forms will be available in the school office on the payment of Rs 750/-, from 24th October, 2017 during office hours on all working days (including Saturdays).

The duly filled Registration Form shall have to be submitted at the School Office. Please note that registration is no guarantee for admission into the school. Granting of admission primarily depends on the availability of seats. Apart from the first come first served principle (or lottery in case the no. of applicants exceed the no. of available seats), which we adopt, there are other criteria which are looked into before the final selection is made.
